Our vision is to vibrantly collaborate with educators, students & families to find unique solutions that encourage learning, improve mental wellbeing, and engage families beyond the classroom.
We value collaboration, creativity, commitment, compassion & community.
We serve educators, students and families in Colorado.
Why we do, what we do!
Working with special needs & at-risk students has always been a profound passion of mine. Following my experience in public education, it became apparent that current efforts are insufficient in ensuring the success of these student demographics. Our goal is to bridge gaps, in & out of the classroom, to help students receive the learning and wellness support they need.
Therapeutic Art, Music & Movement
The inSPIRE program is a community outreach promoting creative mental wellness activities in Pueblo County.
The inSPIRE program integrates creativity, collaboration & community engagement through art, music and movement to support overall positive mental wellness.
Activities like painting, music, dance, writing and storytelling can help with processing emotions and improving focus. Exploring creativity also fosters new ways of thinking and promotes empathy.
Whether it’s part of a therapeutic creative arts exercise or something you experience in your everyday life, art can help:
Participating in arts activities also builds self-esteem and self-acceptance, both of which help to protect against mental illness.
In the inSPIRE program we strive to make an environment that allows everyone to explore feelings without fear of judgement. Providing a place where kids are physically, socially and emotionally secure is imperative for healthy development and a successful future.
We can be that Safe Place.
Bridging Gaps in Learning
The Connections Program places qualified volunteers in the classroom to support educators and students with one-on-one interaction and instruction. We facilitate collaboration among educators, students, parents & volunteers to discover innovative solutions for the classroom.
Having qualified volunteers is the best way to provide much needed support in the classroom. Volunteers in the classroom make it easier for the educator to focus on the “whole”, forming a team built for success.
Monthly educational evenings are offered to program participants, to form much needed connections within our community while learning ways to help children meet goals and ensure student success.
